I love stories that speak to both the heart and the imagination. Whether I’m crafting romantic fantasy adventures, fairy tale-infused love stories, or space operas with heart, I believe great fiction reaches into the deepest places of creativity and meaning.
I am also an avid walker and bicyclist who draws inspiration from the lush greens of Washington State. When I’m not writing, I lead worship with her church praise team.
Just to note: Rene Hawthorne is a pen name for author Tyrean Martinson, who normally writes adventure-first fantasy and scifi, with some quirky poetry, short fiction, and nonfiction, as well. This pen name is here for the exploration of romance as a genre.
